Students for Christ staff and trained workers minister on a one-to-one basis and in small groups. They win people to Christ and follow them up personally, teaching the fundamentals of effective Christian living. Emphasis is more on people than programs ..more on individuals than on masses.

This personalized training involves months of teaching and modeling how to read and study the Bible, how to pray, how to share their faith effectively, and how to become involved in a local church and community. This produces a certain kind of Christian: a laborer who has a Christ-centered life, who applies the Bible in his everyday living, and who is motivated by love to reach out to others.

The Workers are Few

When Jesus saw the crowds His heart filed with compassion because "they were distressed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, 'The harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few.'" (Matthew 9:37)
